Uniformity is one of its main characteristics: no particularly challenging stretches, but at the same time there’s no reprieve. The average gradient is 8-9%, with the road continually going in and out of the woods, offering various vistas of the Sciliar Dolomites and the valley towards Siusi and Bolzano.
