The Zignago Valley isn’t only famous for Ernest Hemingway’s sojourn there, where he drew inspiration for his novel “Across the River and into the Trees”, but also for the various mtb routes that wind through it. They include the 100 kilometre marathon, full of climbs and descents along the embankments near the Lame Wood. If in addition to savouring the sense of exertion, you also want to enjoy the wonders of the landscape, then keep the Violin Wood in mind, from where you can admire the entire Caorle lagoon.
