If we had to describe it briefly, we would say that this itinerary is the perfect example of how local fauna and flora, and those who enjoy cycling in the natural environment, can coexist in complete harmony. The only treacherous areas are some unpaved tracts.
Of all the proposed itineraries, this is surely the most enjoyable: from Brussa’s wild beach right up to the protected Vallevecchia nature reserve, there are plenty of inns and osterie/ trattorie restaurants where you can discover the characteristic local cuisine. The route progresses over a succession of asphalted and dirt roads through Lugugnana, Brussa, Castello di Brussa and Vallevecchia. Even though it doesn’t pose any problems in terms of altitude, the route is a little treacherous due to some dirt tracts, which can still be covered by road bike.
