The 7 Termini

Description

Another spectacular scenic route which starts alongside the lake for about 20 km covering almost the whole of the Valcuvia, and once reaching the turning for Cunardo, we take a left turn and ride uphill for about 10 km until we reach the summit of Bedeloni (7 Termini). The location where part of the famous Cadorna line was built because of its view onto neighbouring Switzerland. After descending for about 6-7 km, we head up towards Lake Lugano in Ponte Tresa. Once in Ponte, we take a left turn and go down along the banks of the river Tresa towards Luino and take the same road that goes around the lake back to Ranco.
