Description

In terms of distance and average slope, it is one of the most challenging climbs in Lazio. Just over 17 km from the small town of Guarcino to the summit of Campocatino, located at 1786 m. The climb begins from Guarcino, starting with the first kilometres at an average gradient of 10%. The slope then becomes more gentle, but rarely goes below 5%. There is a lot of natural beauty on this climb, and once you reach the summit, you will be able to admire the magnificent karst basin of Campocatino. Also the best cyclists like Vincenzo Nibali and Valerio Agnoli trained here.
