Discovering nature and the traditions of Puglia.
The trail winds through natural and architectural marvels, beautiful landscapes of the Murgia dei Trulli area, cycling among exposed stone, the dry-stone walls, scarlet red geraniums and the roof tops of the trulli houses.
Starting from Locorotondo, included in the well-deserved prestigious list of the “Most beautiful villages in Italy”, we reach the countryside and head towards the sea to the panoramic Pirro canal until we reach Alberobello (capital of the trulli and UNESCO World Heritage Site) . Alberobello is truly spectacular and unique. A holiday village with stone conical roofs which rise up and line the narrow streets winding through the village. A walk to Trullo Sovrano is recommended and the Trullo church of Sant Antonio.
