From SanRemo to the Col de Turini, the most legendary ascent of the Maritime Alps and several times the stage finish for cycling events including the Tour de France and the Paris-Nice. The course measures 215km and includes over 3,000 meters of climbing. Shortly after the French border the first climb awaits you, short but at times challenging. But it is when you reach Lantosque that the challenge will become much harder. Short straight and continuous hairpin bends will take you to the summit of Col de Turini: a good 20 km at 7% of average gradient for over 1,100 meters of continuous climbing.
