Poggio di Sanremo

The Poggio is the last card to play for those who fall behind on this last tough part of the Milano-Sanremo. It was right here that this year Vincenzo Nibali made his incredible attack.

La Primavera known as the Sprinters’ Classic was added to the route in 1960. It is slightly less than 4 kilometres with a maximum gradient of 8%. It is not a long climb, but along with the Cipressa, it cannot be missed on any bike lovers’ bucket list.
