Easy / Medium Tour
Day 1. The friendly welcome of all the staff
When you get to the hotel, you will be given a welcome drink. Then you are free to enjoy the Romagna atmosphere and hospitality, walking along the beautiful seafront and the streets of the town centre, among the boutiques and glamorous cafes and restaurants.
Day 2. Tour of the Sangiovese
Full of enthusiasm we will set off on our bikes and visit the Riccione countryside. It is an easy tour in the hills. We will admire the fields, olive trees and vineyards, enjoying the colour contrasts, the blue sky, the green hills, the brown earth, the traditional scents, and the small towns.
During this wonderful tour we will stop at our farmhouse hotel, which is surrounded by greenery, where you can relax and enjoy good food and our local wine.
Day 3. The Sea, the Hills, and the Sea yet again
A tour in Romagna and the Marche. We will set off on the discovery of a wonderful area, cycling along the road that leads to the nature reserve of Mount San Bartolo, a promontory which overhangs the sea; it is rich in vegetation and affords amazing views.
Day 4. The Raffaello Tour
A route of medium difficulty, between Riccione and Pesaro. We will cycle in the rolling hills and admire the suggestive landscapes, and reach Urbino, one of the most important Renaissance towns in Italy and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here we will also see the home where Raffaello Sanzio was born.
Day 5. The idols of Romagna Tour
Today we are setting off on the discovery of the birth town of our famous champion Marco Pantani: Cesenatico. This is where the legendary “Pirate” was born and lived. We will also visit the museum dedicated to his career. We will cycle along the channel harbour, which was built in the XVI century according to the design of Leonardo da Vinci. Then we will set off for the hills, where each year the famous “Novecolli” takes place, the “Gran Fondo” par excellence which is much loved by all cyclists.
Day 6. Malatesta Fortress
A suggestive tour on the discovery of Ponte Verucchio, during which we will face a climb that leads to the Malatesta Fortress in Verucchio. After visiting the historic fortress, we will climb up to Monte Ventoso in the renowned Republic of San Marino, one of the most ancient republics in the world. On the three peaks of the Republic stand the three fortresses that date back to the XI century.
Day 7.
Today is the day of departure, but you mustn’t be sad, we are sure you have had some
wonderful experiences, and we are waiting to welcome you back to Riccione for another
fantastic adventure.

Day 2. Tour of the Sangiovese

Day 3. Gradara Tour
Today’s route is not especially long, but we will face challenging climbs and descents. We will visit Gradara where the Castle stands which legend has it was the setting of the tragic love story between Paolo and Francesca, described by Dante in the Divine Comedy. Then we will cycle along the “Panoramica” until we reach Pesaro, a very old town by the sea.
Day 4. “Cippo” Tour
A tour for cyclists who want a challenge! Today we will climb the highest peak of the Romagna countryside: Il Cippo, better known as “Cippo di Pantani” (Pantani’s Cippo), where his fans used to write his famous sentence on the tarmac “Il Carpegna mi basta” (Carpegna is all I need). From Riccione we will climb the Conca Valley along very beautiful roads. From Montecerignone we will set off for Carpegna. We will climb a narrow road in a wood and reach the peak, and feel satisfied with our achievement. Once we have got our breath back, we will descend from Cantoniera down to Pennabilli, and return to the hotel.

Day 5. The Olive Oil Tour
A challenging tour that winds along the hills of our countryside. The traditions and culture of growing olive trees has ancient roots. In Valmarecchia and on the hills of the Valconca excellent olive oil is produced with the European DOP label.

Day 6. The Malatesta Fortresses and Castles
A tour of medium difficulty in the rolling hills of our countryside on the discovery of the castles of the noble Malatesta family, which for many centuries dominated these lands on the border between Romagna and the Marche.
Day 7.
Today is the day of departure, but you mustn’t be sad, we are sure you have had some wonderful experiences, and we are waiting to welcome you back to Riccione for another fantastic adventure.
