Veneto is such a diverse destination that with its charm, it makes anyone fall in love, regardless of the season. From the seaside resorts, especially Venice and Bibione, you can enjoy bike tours at a leisurely pace. The little Dolomites – on the border between Vicenza, Verona and Trento – is a good compromise for those who want to ride on flat routes and climb high peaks, which remain however, below 2000 m. The area of Prosecco – Valdobbiadene and Conegliano in first place – where endless rows of vineyards can be seen for miles in the gentle sinuous hills.
It is right here, that at the end of September, you can start with the Prosecco Cycling. An event which promotes the Prosecco DOCG hills and typical products around the world, especially the food and wine sector. In recent years, over 40,000 people have been amazed.

Rome & Hills
The eternal charm of the Italian capital is indisputable, but the best places to cycle in tranquillity are Viterbo and Fiuggi. If you are looking for a gentle and mostly hilly area, we recommend the first one; Instead if you want to add some other pleasant climb to your bucket list, we recommend Fiuggi. Make sure you choose Campo Catino and Monte Scalambra, you won’t regret it.

Piedmont
A panoramic view of this destination for a road bike holiday allows you to explore its two different landscapes between Alpine mountains featured in the Giro d’Italia and Tour de France, and the area Valle appreciated and famous worldwide – Langhe-Roero and Monferrato for its wine production. To keep it simple, we wrote the Adriatic Coast, but really we could have included every location, since there is no corner of this destination which is not perfect to enjoy the carefree autumn with your own bike. The routes are never monotonous; the landscapes constantly change from calm sea to the plains until you see the first hills, which change before you know it, into mountains. And what mountains! Mountains like Carpegna, the climb that Marco Pantani so dearly loved.

Tuscany
