Cycling experience
The biking season is here, twelve months a year, if here means Finale Ligure.
On your left, you have the Mediterranean, sapphire blue, languid and inviting, dotted with white sailing boats. On the coast you’ll find the town of Finale Ligure and its medieval sister, Finale Borgo, both charming spotsfull of culture, seafood, focaccia and gelato. Inland just a smidge you hit the mountains, thrusting up to a lofty 1400m above sea level.
Road cyclists will know the famous Milano-San Remo route which runs through Finale Ligure and is always enjoyed by race participants because of the perfume of flowers and citrus which permeates every part of the coastal stages.
For mountain bikers The Finalese collects a dense network of paths that develop on such a wide territoryfrom high mountain scenery to dusty trail with sea views. Finale Ligure has been affirmed in the last few years as a top spot for Mountain Bike. Events of extraordinary importance such as the 24H din Finale Ligure and the Superenduro World Championships have brought to the eyes of the whole world how this territory is extraordinary for the practice of the Mtb, the Enduro and the Cross Country, a sort of Mecca of the Mtb. Finale Ligure has become, over the years, a trueBrand.
The mild climate throughout the year and the proximity of the Ligurian Alps make it easy to design routes which combine seaside and mountains, guaranteeing the maximum enjoyment for cyclists, who will also appreciate our healthy Mediterranean cooking peaks.
