Geological Garden of the Alps

Surrounded by the Lavazè Pass and the Costalunga Pass, Predazzo, also known as the “Geological Garden of the Alps”, boasts the highest concentration of geological varieties in the world, which is why it’s a fundamental stop. The itinerary isn’t easy, but it’s worth the effort for the extraordinary collection of mineral rocks and fossils that can be admired. The passes to climb are long, over 10 km, but the average gradients are gentle.
