DifficultyYou cannot say that you have visited Livigno without having travelled the panoramic route running along Lake Livigno towards the Gallo Pass at least once. It is a classic for all road racers who crowd these roads during the summer months.
The route leading to the Dogana del Gallo is a “must” for all biking enthusiasts who visit Livigno. Known as a “bowl”, it is a completely flat round-trip route which covers a distance just under 15 km on the road that runs along Livigno Lake towards the Gallo Pass, through a succession of tunnels. It will serve to loosen up your legs and give you a feel for the place.
Watch out … it is easy to come across professional riders and teams throughout the year, so take the opportunity to try and keep up their pace.
