This programme includes sections of famous roads:
- Stage 12 of the Giro d’Italia 2024
- Stage 1 of the Tour de France 2024
- Cippo: The climb of Marco Pantani
Day 1 – Arrival, welcome drink and dinner at the hotel
Day 2 – Urbino (Unesco World Heritage Site) – 90 km, elevation 1328 m
We cycle towards Gradara and Monteluro and then descend to Montecchio. We continue to Schieti, where we start the climb (13 km with a gradient of 6 to 8%) to reach Urbino (451 m). We also continue towards Tavullia, the town of Valentino Rossi!
Day 3 – Mombaroccio/Fano – 110 km, elevation 1,400 m
We cycle to Fano: arrival of the 12th stage of the Giro d’Italia 2024. Then towards Pesaro and Baia Flaminia, where we enter the San Bartolo Nature Park. We cycle along the “Panoramica” road, which has been travelled several times by the Giro d’Italia, and reach the picturesque fishing village of Fiorenzuola di Focara.
Day 4 – The Furlo Gorge – 135 km, elevation 1380 m
A tour full of history and nature. We reach Acqualagna, the home of the truffle, and follow the old Flaminia road to reach the Furlo Gorge. Here we enjoy a delicious plate of homemade tagliatelle accompanied by a good glass of wine! We get back on the saddle towards Fossombrone (finish of stage 8 of the Giro d’Italia 2023).
Day 5 – “Villages and castles” 75 km, elevation 886 m
A fascinating tour, but easier than the previous days.Discover the medieval villages: Tavoleto, Mondaino, San Giovanni in Marignano (the Malatesta castle) and Gradara.
Day 6 – On the roads of the pirate – 130 km elevation 1860 m
A very demanding tour, but really worth it! The first 30 km are slightly hilly.From Mercatino Conca we ride up to Carpegna (796 m). Would you like to challenge yourself?Climb the CIPPO, the mountain of the pirate Marco Pantani, and reach his monument.”Carpegna is enough for me!” (10 – 15 % gradient)Day 7 – San Leo and San Marino – 95 km difference in altitude 1350 m
We cycle 27 km on a flat road and then uphill to reach San Leo (583 m). From here we cycle 22 km of the 1st stage of the Tour de France 2024 towards Montemaggio – San Marino. Picnic in the vineyard at the Ennio Ottaviani winery.Tasting of fine wines, accompanied by the famous farmer’s focaccia.
Day 8 – Greeting and departure
This offer include
- 7 nights (8 days) with half board: rich breakfast buffet and dinner with a large buffet of hot and cold starters, vegetables, salads, cheese, cold cuts and pizza. The first and second courses are served at the table. Dessert, ice cream or sorbet.
