Puccini Cicloclassica 2024

If you love culture, music and cycling, don’t miss this fabulous experience, retracing the streets that inspired Giacomo Puccini and the places where he composed his music.

Saturday will be dedicated to visiting Puccini’s house museums, while Sunday you’ll get to know Puccini’s streets on your bike.

You can choose where you depart from – either comfortably from Piazza Giacomo Puccini in Viareggio, right in front of the hotel, or from Piazza del Giglio in Lucca. those who decide to start from the centre of Lucca* can stop, after a few kilometres, at Albogatti Urban Farm, located in the river park along the left bank of the Serchio River.  You’ll continue along Puccini Cycle Path as far as Massaciuccoli, where you’ll also have the chance to have some refreshments, whilst enjoying Puccini’s music. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit the other side of the lake, by navigating through the protected park, and enjoy lots of little surprises.
