We will take you to ride 75 km of the first stage of the Tour de France: from San Pietro in Bagno to San Marino.
Accommodation:
5 nights at Hotel Alexander
2 nights in San Leo: a true open-air museum!
PROGRAM
All bike tours are accompanied by our expert guide.
DAY 1
Arrival at Hotel Alexander, check-in, and bike setup in our bike room.
6:00 PM: Welcome drink, presentation of the bike tours, and delivery of the Tour de France Limited Edition Jersey.
Dinner at the hotel.
DAY 2
After breakfast, departure by bike for the “Borghi & Castelli” tour – 75 km – 936 m elevation.
Lunch at the hotel until 3:00 PM.
Dinner at the hotel.
DAY 3
After breakfast, departure by bike to Urbino – 85 km – 1,136 m elevation.
Stop in S. Andrea in Casale at the winery E. Ottaviani for a pleasant picnic and tasting of wines and local products.
Dinner at the hotel.
DAY 4
After breakfast, bike transfer: Gabicce – Carpegna – San Leo – 71 km – 1,244 m elevation.
Luggage transport and assistance with our van.
Overnight at the historic village of San Leo’s Albergo Diffuso.
Traditional dinner in the village.
DAY 5
After breakfast, bike towards San Pietro in Bagno.
We will ride the same route as the Tour de France: round trip to San Leo – 90 km – 1,371 m elevation.
Coffee break in San Pietro in Bagno.
Dinner in the village of San Leo.
DAY 6
After breakfast, bike transfer to Gabicce Mare.
Luggage transport and assistance with our van.
You will ride from San Leo to San Marino on the same route as the Tour de France.
30 km – 688 m elevation.
Coffee break in San Marino.
From here, it’s a descent of 40 km to Gabicce Mare.
Dinner at the hotel.
DAY 7
After breakfast, bike on the Panoramica Road (San Bartolo Nature Park) – 65 km – 596 m elevation.
Stop in Gabicce Monte for a delicious Piadina Romagnola tasting and a cold beer.
Dinner at the hotel.
